Here is Lyric’s Birthday that took place in March.  Owen had a great time playing with the kids as soon as he warmed up to them.  I made the cake!  It was eggless and peanutless so that Lyric could eat it.  I asked her what she wanted and she said she wanted chocolate cake with pink inside and blue outside with a mermaid on top and gummy bears.  So, the design was all her idea

A conversation from today:

Owen:  Mama, when will I be 32?

Mama: Not for a long, long time.

Owen:  How old are you Mama?

Mama:  34

Owen:  Oh.  Miss Kim is 32.

Mama:  Really, did she tell you that?

Owen:  No, she told the other kids, and I didn’t cover my ears.

Mama: Oh, okay.

Owen:  She said 32, and that sounded really old, but you’re already that old Mama.

Mama:  Hmm, yeah, I guess I’m pretty old.
