[...] With oodles of assistance from my brother-in-law and his brother, I made this cradle for baby-to-be in January of 2005. Jennifer supplied the instructions, which she found in a book she bought about making things for kids. Here it is from another angle: Jennifer and her mother made the mattress and sheets to go inside. Underneath the mattress, Jennifer has used an engraver to write our kids’ names and birhtdates. Both of our kids used this cradle as a naptime bed when they were infants. Read more about the cradle, which I finished in January 2005, AT THIS LINK. [...]

She does do that with potty. When she goes in the potty chair we dump it in the toilet and wave bye bye to it, so she thinks that is what we have to do when we go too ;-) She is funny with Owen's toys. She loves the robots and playing light sabers with him.

Here's a couple of things she has done for me. When I was watching her one day, I had to go to the bathroom and she came with me. She would say, "pee pee pottie" and when I was going, she would say "shhhhh" like it sounds when you go and then when I flushed the toilet she would say, "bye bye pottie". Another thing she did was pickup a little light saber of Owen's and said something which was light saber and wave it around and say "sssssss" like light sabers do. Then she put it up her sleeve and said, "where did it go?" Not quite that pronounced, but I understood. Then she pulled it out and said, "There it is." I love watching her each week because she is doing and saying new things all the time.
